No fill with Overlay
I'm not sure if this is inherent with overlay, but none of the channels will fill the screen while in overlay. They just remain 4x3 giving me those large black bars on each side of the picture. Should they be filling the screen if I have "Fill" chosen in the setup menu while using overlay, or is that not possible?

After playing around I finally found that if the Display type in the purevideo decoder properties is set to anything other than anamorphic/raw aspect then the picture will not fill the screen with "fill" or "16x9" selected in the aspect ratio mode in the detailed setup.
