best way to solve folder exception

I have a directory structure like this:

C:\Media
C:\Media\TV
C:\Media\Movies
C:\Media\Archive

In the videos section, I want separate folders to show up for TV and Movies. But I'd rather not have it import the Archive directory. So if I add an import dir for C:\Media, that wouldn't work because it would add Archive. Is there some way to tell it to make an exception for this folder? Otherwise, if I add separate entries for TV and Movies to the import, they lose their top level folder organization.

If I have to, I'll rearrange the structure making a C:\Videos folder and put TV and Movies under that. But I'd like to explore other options because that wouldn't be my favorite.

I would suggest keeping the recording dirs outside the import dir paths. Unknown videos in recording dirs will be imported anyway, so they won't be missed.
