I want FM tuner capabilities.

How hard would it be to implement FM tuner capabilities into SageTV? I have an FM tuner on my 1800 that I'd love to use....this is pretty much the only thing missing from my HTPC setup. C'mon Sage!

I used the plug in for internet radio which tunes some FM stations but can get radio from all over.

There is a plugin that did work to some extent with Extenders, but I had some pretty bad static along with it. I've been asking for this feature since I got on board with Sage...they don't seem to be very motivated to add this feature at all. Granted, they have much bigger and better things going on right now but it was a sticking-point in my decision to move to Sage a while back.

I would like this too... it seems like it is pretty close to working... and since I got my HDPVR, I have a tuner freed up so there would not even be conflicting usage.

Don't know whether radio will work with extenders or not, but, there was a radio plugin that worked from client machines. Problem was, radio option replaced Online Services menu option on the standard setup. I'm guessing, if you are using SageMC where you can configure the menu, may work. Provided antenna picked up pretty good indoor reception.

I must say, it's a feature that I would put to good use too.
My little mp3 player can do it and I can schedule it to record, it is a handy feature to have.

Last time I checked, the FM Tuner stvi was working on mine. One of my cards doesn't pick up well though. It even worked on the MVP.

I recall playing with it in the past... but now I can not seem to find it and FM is not a valid search term... anyone point me to it?

Thanks!

It's limited though, you can't record or timeshift.
