set start padding 10 min before and 10 min after, but doesnt work

when i record a few shows. i have it set to start 10 min before and 10 min after the 30 min show. just so i can be sure to get all of it with out missing anything. but it never works. since it never works

i then started doing it manually. setting the show to start about 5 min before and 5 after the 30 min time period. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt and ends up cutting about 2 min of the show out.

does anyone know how to fix the padding time so it actuly works everytime and not once or twice here or there.

In the SageTV settings if you have remove padding on back to back favorites on the same channel your ending would be at the beginning of another show.

If you have enough tuners and able to set this to NO... that will definitely do what you want it to do. If you do not have enough tuners this can cause conflicts. This was driving me crazy trying to find that Show that recorded right after the one I was watching.
