I also tried the this event. It did not work either
"C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\SageTV.exe" -event 74
I am doing this to enable SageTV to recognize a DVD inserted into the DVD drive, and autoplay the DVD disc using Sage. In the Control panel of my Vista box - there is no way to add a program to the DVD movie drop down list box.
Any help as to why this parameter is not working? This is what the user manual says to do.
Thanks

For Windows 2K and XP:
- Open My Computer
- Tools -> Options
- File Types tab
- Select File Type 'DVD Video'
- Click Advanced
- Click New
- Action: "Play with &SageTV"
- Click browse and select sagetv.exe
- In the application box, put -event 74 after the quoted path to SageTV
Code:
"C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\SageTV.exe" -event 74
- Ok.
- Set Default
- OK
- Close
This sets Sage as the default DVD disk handler...
For Windows XP only, you need to get rid of the annoying 'what do you want to do with this disk' popup.. - Right-click the DVD drive in My Computer
- Select Properties
- Select AutoPlay tab
- Select DVD Video in drop-down
- Select 'Select an action to perform'
- Select 'Play DVD movie with SageTV' in list below
- OK
Now, either put a DVD in the drive, or if a DVD is already in the drive, right-click the drive and select AutoPlay
(one for the FAQ?!)

Sage needs to be running and if sleeping in the tray, then awake, for this to work.
