Need Help with mwhitlock Sagewake

I am trying to use mwhitlock Sagewake program but I cannot find the schedule file referred to. Is this created by Sage and if so in what directory.

I looked in my sage properties file and see this entry "scheduler_export_file=" DO I need to give it a path and file name, or should Sage have created this path.

Sorry for the dumb user question. Thanks

Just name it and its created in the Sage directory and then its updated automatically. I've not tried a different path. I can't remember if a restart is required once you change properties file to generate the file the first time.

You have to have sage closed, not just minimized when you do this. Make the change, save the fie then restart. The file will then be created.

Thanks for the replys.

This worked:
scheduler_export_file=C\:\\Program Files\\Frey Technologies\\version2\\SageTV\\schedule.txt

This Did not :
scheduler_export_file=Schedule.txt

ALso as advised you need to colos Sage then edit the properties file and then restart. thanks again for your help.

PS My path is probably different then others. reference "version2"

: ) This should probably be in the sage wake documentation, a new user like me would have never figured this out. I hope it doesn't get lost in the forums for other users...

What file does this 'scheduler_export_file=' go in to? I know it's the prop file, just for clarity sake, what's the file name.

I should have stated that I presumed a default location for sage. Whoops....

AFAIK you name it whatever you want and the path is only needed if you do not use the default path. I suppose it would be nice if this was more a true/false property as it can be confusing.

I meant the name of the property file that I type in the name of the schedule file to export. I don't have sage up and running yet...it's prolly something simple like sage.properties, but without every seeing sage I wasn't completely sure.

Well I thought I had it working and I know it worked at least one. But now it does not come out of standby. When I manually come out of standby sagewage does restart Sagetv and everything works ( need to restart sagetv to get usbuirt to work). However in testing it when I schedule a recording and then put the system in standby nothing happens at the time it sould come out of standby and record.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ps I sagewake in at bat file that fires up when I turn the computer on.
