HDHR load failure

*Update to Original Post*
Here's the update in case someone has the same problem. Thanks to the support at SiliconDust, we reached the conclusion that something was wrong deep within Windows and a complete reinstall of the OS was necessary. Everything worked great after doing this. Wish I had an easier solution, but that's what it is. BTW, I was using MCE 2005.

*Original post below*
I'm just installed Sage 6.6 and I'm trying to install a newly purchased HDHR. I'm only trying to use one turner in QAM mode. Everything seemed to go great with the HDHR install and setup. It was able to detect a bunch of channels, and when I hit "view", VLC player launched and they played great.

I'm now at the step where I'm trying to load HDHR in Sage. When I go to add more sources, Tuner 0 comes up like it should, but when I try to select "Digital Tuner", I get the folowing error:

There was a Capture Error in playback. Details:
ERROR (-4,0x80040154): There was a problem using the capture device.
Please be sure you have the latest drivers installed for your capture device,
and that they are installed correctly.

If I try to continue on with the channel scan, no channels get detected.

I've done all of that. I didn't even try to load the divers that came of the CD, I just d/l the most current drivers today. When I ran the HDHR setup, it even loaded a newer firmware for me (I think it's dated April of this year). I've tried rebooting the computer and the HDHR several times. I've also have rerun setup several times, and everything work in there, and I've tried to reinstall the Windows and HDHR BDA drivers.

What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.
-Jeff

Is another application still accessing & using the HDHR tuner? If so, SageTV won't be able to use it.

Thanks for the response. Your reply did remind me that I was running Windows MCE as my OS. I never use the MCE portion though. I did go into services.msc and disabled any service with "Media Center" in it. I'm still having the same problem.

Is there anything else I should try to disable in MCE? I don't see any other programs running that could possibly be using the HDHR without my knowledge.
