Suggestion for SageTV: ignore show ID and record anyway

Please SageTV, could we have an option when setting a Favorite, to ignore repeating program ID's and record all instances, (or ignore "watched" status).
Here in Australia we have OTA epg, which is great, but some shows don't have unique ID's, (like the news, morning news etc).
There is a plugin, but it is just a work-around, and it causes other problems.
Please Please Please Please.

Would be a great option. We have similar problems on some satellite channels here in Germany.

+1 for this from me.

I'm having a problem where Sage has stopped recording the news (very important WAF item) recently for the same reason. My guide data is from ICETV in Australia. They say that this has been the case (same episode ID) for a long time (weeks, months, years, I'm not sure at the moment). I'm going to check with Stephane to see if this might be related to an upgrade of his excellent xmltv importer.

An option to record every episode regardless would have sorted this for me long ago though. Please consider this option.

I also would love to see this. I know I'd use it for NFL Total Access. Every day, M-F, at 4pm, it's a new show... not so much in the Zap2It EPGs.
