I have finallay got my sage system working using 2 HD PVR's and 2 rogers boxes. I gave up trying to tune by firewire and ended up going the USB Uirt option.
Now I am trying to make all the channels tune correctly. When I see the channel listing I see some channels have the channel number and a different physical number. It makes sense to me that they shoud both shoudl match, because if I want to tune the cable box the say HGTV (channel 46) it would physically have to punch in 46.? And so on for every other channel, but since some channels tune different numbers, Safe records the wrong channel. (Once it's set correctly How do I then copy the correct listing to the other tuner?) Thanks for any help FM Last edited by footandmouth; 02-11-2010 at 07:08 AM. |

If you've got the same channels available to each tuner, then you shouldn't be 'copying' the lineup, but instead using the SAME lineup. When you added the second tuner, it asked you whether you wanted to use the same lineup, choose a new lineup, or make a copy of an existing lineup. If you choose to use the same lineup, then changes made to one, will affect the other as well.

Thanks for the info, I assume then that physical numbers should match the channel number to ensure sage tunes the correct channel?
thx |

Yes. Physical is the number that is sent to the tuner.
