Patches for extender crashes during slideshow in V7.0.12
There's a bug in V7.0.12 where pictures with certain orientations and dimensions can cause the extender to crash. I've posted a patch for the Windows version in this thread: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...11&postcount=1
I'm attaching a patch for the Linux version to this post. For Windows extract the zip file and replace ImageLoader.dll in the SageTV folder. For Linux extract the zip file and replace libImageLoader.so in the folder where SageTV is installed. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. This bug doesn't affect non-extender platforms because they reference the memory in a different way. So you don't need the patch if you don't have extenders or if you don't use the pictures functionality in SageTV.

Picture Orientation
[quote=Narflex;436894]There's a bug in V7.0.12 where pictures with certain orientations and dimensions can cause the extender to crash. I've posted a patch for the Windows version in this thread: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...11&postcount=1
This patch fixed my crashing issue with my extenders when photos were displayed in the screen saver. However, it appears now that all my pictures taken with a regular camera turned vertically are displayed incorrectly. They all appear to be rotated 90 degrees. I haven't checked every single picture but a spot check of several folders seems to indicate all vertical pictures are displayed with a 90 degree rotation. All of these pictures were diplayed correctly in Sage 6 and previous betas of Sage 7. Dave

Dave,
Submit a bug report and we'll get a test picture file from you. It's possible your pictures have their EXIF data incorrect relating to this...looks like we may need to add a setting to disable this for that case. http://sagetv.com/bugs.html
