The new remote is still not available in the store. I assume it is still the old remote in the store. I'm waiting for it so I can order the HD300 at the same time. I need the new remote for my HD200 cause I lost the original one. The HD300 is to replace my old HD100, which is too sluggish for v7 with all the bells and whistles (plugins). Please let us know when the new remote will be available for purchase.

On the bright side, the HD300 arrived Friday, works great, noticeably faster/smoother UI.

On the down side.... AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!

It does NOT work with my Sony HDTV.

I'm guessing I fall into that dreaded statement in the manual: "Notes: Only infrared (IR) codes of approx 38KHz can be learned. The HD Theater remote does not support learning radio (RF) signals or 56KHz IR signals."

Nothing in the Sony manual about the wavelength of the remote, but it ain't workin'......

Just ordered the new remote as it is now available in the SageTV store for the same price as the old one. I also ordered an HD300 for my new Panasonic Viera 65" Plasma. I hope it doesn't have the IR frequency problem as the pjpjpjpj guy above. Sony tends to be propriety with their formats, such as mini-disc, memory stick, and UMD.

Now to wait for the oder to arrive.... sigh. It sucks that SageTV doesn't allow Will Call. I drive by their place every day on the way to work. I want the HD300 hooked up to my new 65" Panny for Sunday Football D@mmm1t!!
