Angry Multiple tuners lineup issues...

I have two Happague tuners, one is controlled by USBIRT from the digital cable box. The other tuner is a direct line from cable using the built in tuner.

I have setup the USBIRT tuner to use it's own lineup as it has access to digital channels and because the source is coming in through the SVID connector (better pic). For some reason if I view the guide, the digital channels are not showing up. Instead, the non-digital versions have been remapped to the digital equivalent. Now this is not good as only one of the tuners can access the digital source. That effectively makes the 2nd tuner non-accessible.

I did manage to add the digital channels manually and mapped them to the correct digital channel. They preview correctly in the mapping page but when selecting them in the guide, the 2nd tuner not hooked up to the digital box takes over and switches to the non-digital channel!!

I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't have the digital version available for the 1st tuner and the non-digital version for the 2nd tuner when they both have different lineups?!?!?!

Any ideas on how this needs to be setup?

Thanks,

Adrian.

You really should say which Hauppauge tuners; but I'll offer what little help I can. From what I understand, you are recording from two non-HD sources, one through s-video and the other through a direct cable input. These are equivalent sources to Sage unless you tell it otherwise through a merit setting in the properties file. If one source is HD and the other is SD, the Hd source will be given preference; however, digital vs. analog does not create a preference if both are SD. Your best bet is to give your s-video source a higher merit value in the properties file.
