Is there an easy way to see which plugins are Linux compatible?
IIRC, the Sage7 plugin system has a notion of OS required, I am considering moving my system back to Linux but I'd like to know if all the plugins I currently have installed will run on Linux.

You'd have to look through the SageTVPlugins.xml file in your sagetv directory. Look for plugins that either have NO <OS> tag, or ones that, if they DO contain an <OS> tag, have Linux listed.

Thanks Fuzzy. I'll go run a grep on it. Just to be sure I have it right:
- OS tag is optional, it it doesn't exist there are no restrictions. - If any OS tags exist, only those strings listed are supported. Right?

You don't need to search the file. Dependencies (including OS dependencies) are listed in the plugin detail page in the Sage UI.
Of course you still need to trust that the plugin dev has declared them correctly.

Would be nice if you could sort the plugin menu by OS. Or have the ability to hide plugins that aren't compatible with the OS you're using.

I was under the impression that non-supported plugins were already filtered out of the list, just like 'Desktop' plugins should be filtered from an extender/placeshifter.. though to be honest, I've never confirmed that.
