HD-PVR lights

1 of my hd-pvr's quit working and I reinstalled the drivers and done the hc clear and so on and on. I installed the acrsoft software and went into each tuner to make sure they were working and they were. After several atempts I must have hit the right combination to get both of them working again. Any how I have noticed now that my recording light does not come on , on either hd-pvrs. I had done a update to the arcsoft software before I used it and am wondering if it turned off the light action when I was in there checking the tuners. Anyone else had this happen? I like the lights on so I tell when it is recording.
Thanks
Wayne

Update
I decided to put in the old 1.0.5.301 driver and software back in that I had used in the past and that took care of the problem.
