STBKeepalive with Hauppauge?

While I realize that STBKeepalive was originally meant for USB-UIRT setups, has anyone managed to get it to run with the built-in IR-Blaster for a Hauppauge PVR150? I read thru the STBKeepalive thread and the few times IR-Blaster was mentioned, it was a little vague as to whether it worked or not...

Thanks!
David
