HOWTO for upgrading 6.6 -> 7.1.9 ?
I'm still running 6.6, but I'm thinking it might be a good idea to
upgrade to 7.1.9 while there's still a forum in which to ask questions. I thought I saw a 6.6->7.x upgrade howto somewhere, but I don't seem to be able to find it now. Are there any docs on upgrading a Linux server from 6.6 to 7.1.9 (FWIW, I'm running the "generic" tarball version on Gentoo).

Backup your directory and then untar the new package over the top.
