Can I unmount a Recorded TV Shows Drive safely?
Hi,
I'm having issues with one of my drives - 750GB of data I do have a backup. Until I can deal with it. Can I unmount the drive safely? Will SageTV think these shows are now gone? Will it have to re-import them when I bring the drive back online? All that's on the drive is F:\TV Shows. I'm planning to just unmount it by removing the drive letter. Thanks for the input.

Yes, that will work just fine. Sage will still show those recordings, and if you are able to recover them at a later time, all data for them will still be there. If you attempt to play one of them, it will give you a not available error. The only time sage will actually remove them from the library is if it can see the path the files were in, and the files are no longer there.
