No Cable or Satellite Provider List

Hello... I thought I'd get a jump on configuring the xmltv guide data before time runs out but have run into a problem I can't seem to get
around. I followed Slugger's well written guide on setting up mc2xml
several times but keep getting the same problem. Everything works as
it should until I get to the point of configuring the tuner cards. I get
to the point to where it asks to select the program guide data. I select
"Use US, Canada, or XMLTV Guide Data with this Source". Next it asks for
the zip code. I enter the zip code and press enter. The next screen that
comes up asks to select the cable or satellite provider but there is nothing there to select. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks to all.

In the mc2xml setup box, make sure you select the -U (UTF8) and -F boxes and select Microsoft Legacy. I made the mistake of not selecting the -F box and had to re-do the setup. It's easy to miss in the instructions. Also -u (UTC) -a and -A should NOT be selected.

And check that you created the lineup.properties file in the correct location. A blank screen after the zipcode entry is usually a sign that the lineup.properties file was not created, not created in the proper location, or contains invalid data. Reread that section of the user's guide again and ensure it's setup properly.

All working now

Well.... I obviously don't know how to read. I was creating a file called linup_properties instead of lineup.properties. Works like a champ now. Thanks for the help.
