doesn't find card???
i'm using the pvr-250 and it doesn't show up when i start the program and it says "please select your video tuner ......." under that theres nothing. my card works perfect with other programs

Is this a new card or a card you used before with SageTV?

You may want to check this line in your properties file:
mmc/ignore_encoders - list of the capture devices for SageTV to ignore, these will NOT show up in the list of capture devices

It isn't in use by any other programs, is it? Just checking the obvious...

no, i ran it with 1.4 fine then upgraded to 2.0 and it didn't work (tried downgrading back to 1.4 and still nothing) and there are no other programs running that would interfier

Just to double check, since you didn't mention it... did you check the properties file setting that carlgar mentioned?
