Thanks for that, probably can be done with a single install folder then, will give it a try this weekend hopefully...

hi. I have to rebuild my SageTV because of a OS disk crash. On my previously sage system I did not manage MyTheatre beta4.11 to run in two instances, but that could be because the win7 install were acting strange lately. I did then run one instance of MyTheatre and one instance of DVBViewer with its network recorders, and that worked ok in SageTV. I had not registered the MyTheatre at the time (but got the registration code today).

I was wondering how to install the MyTheatre network encoder plugin if I manage to run MT 4.11 in two instances on the new OS-install (Win7 build7100). I then have the plugin in bouth MT-installs? Should I copy/paste the things that goes into the sage.properties twice, and change the "12345" to another number on one of them, together with port number and a change in the tuner name?

Is it recomended to go with version beta4.11 instead of v3.38.2? I have two DVB-C PCI and one DVB-T USB.

thanks in advance

I had trouble with the beta, kept crapping out, but others are using it successfully. Try the beta and if it doesn't work, try v3.

You need two install folders, folder 1 starts mytheatre with the /card1 parameter, has sagetv plugin configured with (e.g.) port 8686; folder 2 starts with /card2, has separate sagetv plugin with port 8687. Two entries in sage.properties, ids e.g. 12345 and 12346.

Cant get it to run!

Guys, i just don't know where im going wrong here, ive read through this whole thread a couple times, and have tried a reinsatll of SageTV twice now, and still cannot get it to work..... ive gone through the whole setup, and got the guide downloaded in, and it looks awesome!

im running MT 3.38, and SageTV 6.4, and my DVB-S card is a Twinhan 1020a,all on Windows7, which works fine with MT, ive got the Echostar 110/119 scanned in, and Bell nimiq 91 scanned in as well, im using a 4 ft winegard dish with qph-031 LNB and SG-2100 Motor, and am using USALS with MT, and it is all working fine.

after i have everything installed, and running, all i get in SageTV, is (NoSignal).... now ive read that may be a channels issue (favorites), so i redid that part in MT, and only added 3 channels, and still have the issue!

im running all the apps in one machine, not over a network, so thats no too complicated....

ive been through the mmc/encoders part so many times in the sageproperties file, im getting myself mixed up.....i dont know where im going wrong!

could someone, who is running MT/sagetv on a stand alone box please post a working copy of their sage.properties file, and which encoder .dll file they are using? and better yet, if someone would be kind enough to email me their entire MT plugins folder, id really appreciate it! maybe i could see where im going wrong from there.

the closest ive got, is when running MT, with the video off, and running SageTV, ive checked the SageTV Network Encoder plugin status, to see all the fiels were populated, so it appears to be running, and the N3XT plugin monitor is running, emms are populating the monitor..... ive read the adobe set up document and followed it to a tee.....

can someone please help me out here!!!! :-)

my email address is heliguy@mts.net
