How do you activate the 7-day trial?

When I updated to 4.1, the extender service was already enabled. Fire up a MVP and it says 7-day trial period on the screen.

Ok, I was looking for an option in the menu as described in the manual. I don't have access to my MVP at the moment and I wanted to make sure.
