Adjusting FF in Media Extender

Is there any way to set the ff and fwd skip on the remote to user-specified time periods?

I know that you can do this in sage.properties for the server, but I couldn't find the setting for this for the media extender.

Thanks.

Look in the 'clients' subdirectory

You can copy the appropriate lines from sage.properties into this file. Before you do that though, I saw something related to FF/REW timings in the setup screens. You should probably try that first.

Go to Detailed Setup for a variety of settings you can change. For FF/REW times, see the Customize section.

Thanks for the help, guys. It looks like I had to remap the buttons so the skip buttons on the hauppauge rc are set to something like Forward Skip2 and Back Skip2 (which are listed as FastForward2 and Rewind2 in Customization menu). Maybe the in the next release, you guys can use the same terms in both the naming of the sagetv commands (referred to in rc button assign) and the customization of the time skip amounts.

Anyway, kudos for having a menu ui to be able to do this instead of having to edit sage.properties file.
