True, we need Frey in order to fix that.

Yup... But until they start providing actual forum support again I think we are out of luck. To make sure it gets heard though, everyone should probably send an email to the official support address support@freytechnologies.com .

Forum support has been pretty much 100% customer provided the last few months.

Hopefully that will change (it didn't used to be that way).

Jason

This always seems to be my luck. I just bought the software

Could it be there are focusing on 2.0 and sorta letting 1.4x go?

I could kinda understand that from a business point of view.

Still doesn't make my happy with the 3 or 4 problems I have with Sage, that evidentally have been around for several months.

They have stated in the forums that they have been pretty much 100% tied up with CES and the 2.0 beta. I would expect that once they get the beta out they will be much more active here again. In the meantime, there are many highly knowledgeable people on this forum who have all been very helpful both to me personally and to every other poster that I have seen. Personally, while it may be more inconvenient in the short term, I would vastly prefer them totally dedicated to getting 2.0 out the door.

I'd say that's a safe ssumption considering you get a free upgrade to Sage2. As for your problems make sure to keep a list and see if 2.0 fixes them, if not make sure you bring them up in the beta testing thread. Once Frey starts beta testing of course.

As for the user support that should tell you, you are in a good group that appreciates what Jeff and Dan are doing. It's one of the trade offs your get when you decide to go with a smaller company. Most of the time you get almost instant feedback from the developer, but when he's busy doing a major recode for a new version(ie 1 to 2) you get less attention. Unless you happen to be one of the lucky few who made it into the private beta, but then I imagine they have a lot of responsibilty to provide the best feedback they can. Still the support here even over the past few monthes is better than most other products provide at any time. IMO

Anyway, like you said just unlucky timing. I'm sure things will get very busy here soon. So I'd keep you list ready, that way you can make sure you get your concerns taken care of in the official build. Jeff's definitely not the type to take offense to a "bug". He's the type who likes it when people point them out, in a nice manner of course. in fact i've found the more real bugs you find the more he'll listen to your other posts. ie feature requests

EDIT:ErsatzTom,sorry for the cross post. Once again I typed too slow. This is getting to be like some perverse joke on me. Well at least the faster answer by ErsatzTom shows you what I said about great a great group of users is true.
