This plug-in is living on, albeit with much broader focus, in my SageMC Video Tools STVi.

But video tools doesnt allow burning does it... It just compresses / converts the video to dvd format?

It does a lot of things

Features:

* Use alternate encoders such as mencoder and handbrake.
* Automatically detect videos that have been Telecined
* Compress DVD's that you have ripped in your video library using handbrake
* Automatically crop videos to remove black bars (mencoder, handbrake)
* Cut commercials from TV shows using comskip/SA .edl files
* Create video DVD's from recordings that are playable in regular set top players (This is currently broken)
* Auto-compress favorites with multiple profiles (ex: In Place x264 & iPod Compatable to a folder)
* Specify detailed settings such as bitrate, deinterlace, codecs, container, number of passes, etc.
* Support for alternate codecs/containers
* Easily modifiable/distributable encoding profiles

ehh, yea the part i need the most is "broken"...

Its no biggie to me, i 've just upgraded my hardware & software on my client so its cool.
