Its very rare though, and like I said, usually after a couple weeks of solid use. Usually when I don't watch any DVD movies for the weekend (because watching DVDs means I quit the SageUI and go to Zoomplayer).

However when I ran with 1.5 java, hangs and unexpected quits of the sage UI would occur almost every other day or so.
IncredibleHat,

I think I'm seeing the same problem you're seeing. We're pretty much running the same machine configuration (MB/Driver versions/SW versions) but I'm running an X2 3800. Are you still getting this with the latest drivers?

I'm still seeing this freeze and was wondering if you've found a way to resolve it. If I wait long enough (after the screen has frozen), the machine will blue screen on it's own and it points to nv4disp.dll (yuck). I was hoping the new drivers would have solved it, but they didn't for me. I also tried doing the nvidia dual core reg hack but still had the freeze. Since you have the problem and you're not running a dual-core, it's most likely not the issue. Just buggy nvidia drivers in general.

Grrr. I wonder if a discreet video card would resolve this.

Well. I've not seen the particular problem I have had for a long while, as I have been watching a DVD each weekend

So, I don't know if the new 93.71 nvidia drivers would have fixed this issue or not, but I didn't think it was related to the nvidia drivers... I just thought it was sage taking a dump on me. I will keep an eye out for it though. It just may be a rare thing I have gotten thats just related to some unrelated issue? Its not something I get so often that I understand it yet
