Player locks up periodically, then loses signal?

I'm using v5 currently, and for the past few weeks or so, usually after about 10-15 minutes of live TV playback, the player locks up and shows a still of the last frame it was on. The only way to close it is to end it through Task Manager, and when I reopen it, it says a part of the applicaion is missing and must be reinstalled. If I say OK to this error and proceed anyway it just says No Signal. However, I'm sure my install is actually fine since when I restart, the application works normally again.

I checked my log, and a few seconds before this happens it says Sage.exit() called, Killed Carny, Killed Scheduler, and then it proceeds to stop and tear down the playback graph and just lists a bunch of "AWTThread Hang Detected."

Any ideas what could be going on? This install worked fine for a long time.

Did your java automatically update it self lately? Take a look at what version you're running and how many may actually be installed.

You mean Java as in, regular Java? Not some kind of Sage component?

Contol Panel just lists "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2," 117 MB.

???

Your best bet is going to be sending a full log to SageTV; they might be able to determine what is happening.
