Conflict missing

Had a favorites conflict. Set it to ignore future conflicts.

But the wrong one is set to record (future airing this week, but not same episode)

They aren't showing in the Conflict manager anymore.
So, how can I readjust the priority of those two?

There might be an easier way but you could always delete both favorites and set them up again from scratch.

You can adjust the priority of Favorites on the Favorites Manager screen -- bottom of p. 68 in the v6 manual.

Also: if they aren't showing up on the Recording Conflicts screen, then they aren't conflicting right now. If they conflict & it automatically choose the resolution based on your previous conflict resolution choices, you will still see the conflict, but it will be displayed as resolved.

There definitely was a conflict with the shows. House 9:00 and Knights of Prosperity 9:30. And remember, the conflict was originally show in the Conflict Manager until I pressed Ignore.

They are set up with the correct priorities in the favorites manager (House number 3, Knights 23).

Deleting the favorite Knights allowed House to be recorded. Adding it back in didn't cause the conflict to be shown though. I didn't think to delete House as a favorite. Maybe next week.

BTW. I do have other resolved conflicts that show in the conflict manager.

Since there is no conflict, SageTV doesn't feel that there is one. What might have happened is that it juggled the recording schedule such that it is able to record both episodes. The one that seems to be missing may be scheduled to record at a later airing. I tried to look up those shows, but they aren't even airing on the same day here, so I can't comment about the specific airings you are seeing.

Oh, wait: I now see that they aired at the same time last night & the House episode from last night (One Day, One Room) also airs on Feb 9, while Knights does not re-air. I believe House would have been scheduled for the later airing.

Strange, last night I did look at future airings for House and it didn't list anything for the 9th. Also, I did have that original conflict between the two shows. Maybe I caught it around the same time as an EPG update.

I have to check what my look ahead is set to.

Thanks for looking into this!

It goes beyond the schedule's lookahead time when trying to resolve conflicts; for more info, see this FAQ. The conflict would resolve when the EPG data was updated to include the 2nd airing for that one show.
