media keyboard

Hi I'm building a new ...newer media center pc. I ordered my keyboard through dell but I didn't know it didn't come with any ir blasters or adapters with it .
it's the Media center keyboard , looks alike a nice keyboard and would fit my needs if I can find some other way to hooking it up .,
I was planning on ordering a TV card from here or from my local store. but I didn't know if just getting a capture card having an IR blaster will fit my problem.
any one know ?
or would it best if I just ebay the blaster ? from an HP computer ??

thanks

I think you just need to order the MCE Remote. This comes with the receiver/blaster. You can pick it up from PCAlchemy.com or the such for ~$35. HTH

Aloha,
Mike

Thx , if that will work I will go out before my new processor gets here . I found it at my local computer store for the same price in Canadian dollars. so it works out to be cheaper for me I think .
what would a good tv capture card be , it would be a for a single feed to start.

thank for the help BTW

The good old standby for SageTV is the Hauppauge line. For a singe tuner, the PVR-150 works well. Their dual tuner card is the PVR-500. If you haven't purchased SageTV and plan to, you might consider one of their bundles.
