WMA Playback Error

Hi, This is my one remaining problem with Sage TV. I have yet to get any version or configuration to play .wma audio files imported into the library. Always returns the same error referring to a video playback problem

Screengrab of the message attached below just in case the numbers mean something to somebody.

Thanks,
John

8007000E is an Out of Memory error, for whatever that's worth.

Are these unprotected WMA files, or are they DRMed? I don't think the native Sage player can play DRM files. (But there's a plugin that can.)

I think you can play DRM WMA files, but SageTV has to be able to see the files directly -- i.e.: if using a client, the import directory has to be a UNC paths so that the client can see & thus play the file itself w/o streaming it through the sever.

None of these files are DRM protected. Ive tried 2 sets, one with very large uncompressed wma ripped from a CD and one set of 64kbs wma. Same result as above in each case.

I'll try out the UNC path idea and report back.

Problem solved, entered the UNC path for the wma music files and they all play now. Strangely, the mapped drive reference works just fine for photos and videos.
