Run on media extenders??

Holy doodle, it is exceptionally hard to track down a hauppauge mvpmedia extender.

I am looking to buy one, I have looked at all the usual places in town and online, and I can't track one down.

Are they so popular? Discontinued? Produced in limited quantities?

Any suggestions, particularly that can be shipped to Canada and not by UPS (UPS is a tool of the devil), would be greatly appreciated.

These do not come with a Sage license which you still need to get from sage if you no not currently have any available.

edit: pcalchemy also sells the extender license

PcAlchemy is sold out, and NewEgg doesn't ship to Canada.

I might have to get it sent to the inlaws...

Thanks for the suggestion. I am a little leary cuz I don't want get locked into a back order situation. Just cuz the one they have is in the store and not the warehouse. I went to a few places here in town that had 1 in stock on their website but couldn't track it down when I got there.

Seriously, does anyone know why are these units in short supply?
