Power On: No Audio - Restart - Audio!

Does anyone else have the issue that when you power on the HD Extender via remote there is no audio. When you shutdown and restart (again via remote) the audio returns? I wonder if this is an HDMI issue?

Yeah, I think it's an HDMI handshake issue. I decided to turn on the TV first(I usually turn on the Extender since it takes a little longer) and when I started up the Extender the audio was on first boot-up. Overall no big deal but I guess this would have to be tweaked if I set up the start-up Activity via my Harmony Remote as I can't have all the components starting at exactly the same time.

I have experienced the exact same issue with audio over HDMI. I will probably go back to a Toslink connection.

No because I think this type of issue might be related to the display type. I think it has something to do with the HDMI handshake. There must be some kind of communication back to the Extender that informs it of the display status. If the display is not yet powered it seems to disable the audio. I now just turn on the display before the Extender.

One thing I find funny, when the screen saver of the Extender is on and I turn on the display's sleep timer, the Extender is aware that something is happening and it turns off the screen saver.
