server freezes

Hi

My hauppage extender will only run for 8 to 10 minutes before freezing - with tv, video, music - makes no difference.

I am running wirelessly with two repeaters (one in bridge mode) with a strong signal - it seems it is the server that stops, rahther than a drop in the signal. Sometimes it can be restarted from the hauppage mvp but most times I have to go to the pc and reset it

I have XP home on a core dup 6700 with 2gb of RAM and hauppage nova T usb2

Any ideas please ?

I would, if you could, get off the wireless setup and connect the extender wired and see if you have the same symptoms. Unless you just have a bad extender, I am not seeing those issues on mine.

It does exactly the same when on cat 5 cable direct into my router.

I think it is the server stopping - but cant validate this.

Any other ideas ? I am using a static ip address
