Which demultiplexer to use? (does it even matter?)

Regarding HD/QAM Recording/Playback (2 hvr-1600's):

I think I've settled on Vista, Aero, VMR9, FSE Enabled, Cyberlink Decoder, AC3Filter, Superfetch ENABLED (actually had more studder w/it disabled).

The only thing left to figure out about is the MPEG Demultiplexer. Do I use the one with Sage or Vista's or another? Does it 'really' matter?

I'm going for the optimal settings for studder-free HD playback. Single "server" w/no extenders/clients attached.

Thanks all. As always, all opinions are much welcomed!
