Turn off Intelligent Recording and Sage will only record what you have specified via Favorites and Manual Recordings.

Well, it seemed to make sense for *6* versions. I've been using Sage for almost 4 years and this has never been a problem.

Perhaps Sage is not the system for you.

Check page 235 of the manual and see if that solves it. I don't have anything up and running yet so I don't know for sure, but it looks like that should what you want, though intelligent recording will need to be disabled for it to work.

Also, are you saying that even small snippets of show are in the recorded listings?
