Ratio Aspect STVi still required?

I got a problem with my MVP ratio settings for XVID movies, and was wondering - as I did install the Ratio Aspect STVi - if that was still working with the latest SageMC. I recall being able to set for specific shows the aspect ratio, and now I can't anymore. In contrary, when while playing on the movie on the MVP and I press the yellow remote button, I get a blue blank option screen (instead of SOURCE, FILL, 16:9 or 4:3).

My memroy is that AR control doesn't work at all on the MVP - at least that is what I remember from back when I was using my MVP. It could be that the core is reporting that no AR's are available for the MVP, so SageMC just puts up a blank screen......

Are you using nielm's original plugin or flachbar's SageMC version? SageMC 6.3.4 broke the original plugin, so Dirk threw together a version that would work in SageMC. Its not perfect, but it does work. For instance, if I go into the "modify aspect ratio settings" page from the pop-up to delete an existing AAR, I get a blank screen. But other than that, it works fine, and if I need to delete an AAR, I just load up the defaultUI, and delete it from there.

NOw, if it works with the MVP, I dunno.

Aha, there are 2 version of that plugin .. did not know that.

I'm running SageMC 6.3.7a, so that may be the problem. I'll be looking for Dirk's version ...
