31 still has the skip timing problem. Here's a log from later in a program. It should skip to just before where I stop it the last time.

I checked your log, no seeking missed with the 2.0.1.31, all taget positions are within 99ms, except one 156 ms, which is around a bad PTS at "47 mins 22.541 sec".

That's why I wondered how well a log would work. What I'm seeing is that 28 hits the commercials almost right on. Forward and backward. 31 does not. I loaded the file into video-redo and the commercials are right on (I generate both a vprj and an edl file using show analyzer). The log lies .

Were the most recent files removed already? I'm getting Not Found errors for both files now.

I saw the same thing as David with build 30, comskip no longer accurately skipped commercials in my HDHR recordings.

The accuracy problem is fixed.
The log cheated me as well, a small bug caused the moving off a target.

I tried the above and it completely locked up when watching SD recordings.... had to bring up task manager to end the client. The recordings will not even begin to play.

It seems there is someting special in your file, could you cut off 60M data to uploding? Thanks.

Seeking is really broken for me, regardless of the MpegDemux file version I use, from the version in 648 onwards. 648 suffers the least stalls and seems the quickest of all but gives the permanent spinning wheel of death on occasion.

System is only barely usable and thats with intelligent recording disabled. Attached log file is from the 32 mpegdemux version. Start UI, watch TV for 5 seconds, big jump back and then big jump fwd generates a UI hang, which the system does seem to recover from sometimes.

This is SD content over DVB in UK, with multiple vista front ends (32/64 bit plus nvidia/ati cards) onto a ubuntu 8.10 32bit backend with multiple different tuners.

I have other substantial problems, but this one is the least WAG friendly currently.

It seems something with network, did you update myasyncflt.ax?
I have a specall version here for you, which logs more information to trace your problem.

Using MpegDeMux.ax ver 2.0.1.33 and myasyncflt.ax ver 2.2.1.2 I have some issues. I get a consistent audio track but the video playback is pretty varied. Occasionally it is fine other times it is like watching a series of snapshots taken at 2 second intervals or it will contain a lot of micro stutter. I get similar results with PowerDVD8 and the SageTV decoders. If I skip back a few seconds the video issues are corrected.

UPDATE: If I add enough time in the delay after tuning parameter to ensure my satellite receiver has fully changed channels and my HD-PVR is encoding then I seem to be good. The MpegDeMux doesn't seem to like the video stream changing mid decode.
