After several seconds I lose the logo screen and get no video output at all via HDMI.

My component hookups are all taken, so I have to connect this box via the DVI input on the TV. Is this something that Sage is working on to fix?
Same thing is happening to me. But when I connect it via component, I can't change the resolution to anything other than 480i. Any other resolution results in a black screen.

I'm having HDMI to HDMI issue

Well, I was having an issue with the HDMI Video, I have that working now, but not audio over HDMI...I'm not sure if my Samsung DLP TV supports audio in via HDMI.

HDMI to DVI working!

I loaded up Beta firmware version "20090218 1", and followed the advice from the reply from Sage Support:

"Try hitting the video out button when it is trying to connect to your server and wait a few seconds after each press."

The first time I had to press video out several times. After getting it to work and, turning off and back on the HD200, I only had to press video out once.

Another piece of advice they gave me, although I'm not using a server yet, just running in standalone mode:

"Next close SageTV and the service and go to your SageTV folder on the server and delete everything inside the clients folder and see if that helps."

Setup:
HD200 HDMI out
Sony HDTV with DVI in

Now I am discovering that there is no magic setting for aspect ratio:
Aspect Ratio 101

I'm not sure whether the HD-200 in standalone mode has the same options as Sage itself, but if it does, the 4 modes (Fill, Source, 4x3, 16x9) are configurable in the setup menu. Just enter a value higher than 100% to stretch the image out.

If the HD-200 doesn't have these options, then I'm not sure what to suggest.

This is great news. I'll have to download and try this Beta firmware version "20090218 1".

You can add user defined aspect ratios. You can also have SageTV auto select the aspect ratio. Try searching these forums using the following:
Anamorphic
Panoramic
nonlinearmode
Auto Aspect Ratio
advanced_aspect_ratio_extra_modes
default_advanced_aspect_ratio

I haven't actually tried these yet but I plan to in the next couple of days.

I started having this problem with my HD100 when I upgraded the server to 6.5 and the extenre to a recent beta.

I just got my HD200 and I have the same thing, no change. I too have DVI on the TV it's a rear projection Toshiba 1080i... I have tried everything said here and then some. It looks like we are stuck with component cables until someone figures a fix.

I upgraded to 20090218 1 and followed the suggestions from the above post and I still don't get anything from HDMI to DVI. I'm still working with Sage support.

Update: Upgraded to latest beta firmware of HD200 and latest beta version of SageTV. Still no go. Continuing to work with Sage support.
