FYI - DishNetwork phasing out the "Disable System Updates" option on ALL STB's

Can anyone share their IR codes for the VIP 211 with the 'Select' Command? For the life of me, I can not get my USBUIRT to read anything from the remote. Never have been able to (only got it to work 2 years ago because I find the IR codes here on the forms!).

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

Okay, so I was able to get it in Sage, but for some reason it won't let me select anything to append the prefix code. Grrrr. I'm done playing with it for now.

I think you're fighting the same battle I did. After I had it learn my remote codes I also had to modify the default Remote Control Options so that it ended up as follows:

DIGITS PER CHANNEL: 3
CHANNEL CHANGE PREFIX CODE: SELECT
CHANNEL CHANGE CONFIRM CODE: NONE
DELAY BETWEEN CODES: 500msec
DELAY BETWEEN CHANNEL CHANGES: 600msec
IR BLASTER REPEAT FACTOR: 4

Until I modified the two delay settings, it never appeared to learn my remote codes.

Yeah, I finally ended up just starting over and redoing everything and it finally worked. Luckily my 311's don't need the "select" prefix so I only had to redo the one for my 211.
