Parental Control
I don't mind the extra menu clicks to get to Playon. I just want the security dynamic menus provided. Being able to filter the movies Kids are able to see is a must for me.

I'm trying not to sound negative.. I want to upgrade now! I have the beta on my laptop and have done a little tweaking. Unfortunately, the plugin devs who are responding are the ones whose apps I use... TVExplorer is a MUST, Serenity with horizontal scrolling and easy menu setup is a MUST!
So even though I don't want to sound pushy, how can I not LOL.. Grant Keep up the GREAT work guys, I'll be watching ![]() |

If its possible, I'll dig into it because that will be enough to get by until someone writes the plugin. |

Will probably not go to 7 unless this is ported. Not one of my menus is "stock".

Really. Did not know that. I am going home from work today and installing v7 on my new (future) server, but I was not sure whether to switch to it because there are too many features that I won't have, the biggest of them being rearranged menus via DCM.
So when you use the v6 UI in v7, I assume you still have to manually do the files to get you to content in the PlayOn plugin (whereas in v7 it all fills in automatically)? If you are using the v6 UI, do all the same old v6-compatible plugins work, or might they still be broken? For example, MovieTimes, or the Weather Report Suite?

I never really had any use for the V6 UI, being a SageMC'er. So I don't know for sure, but it seems like most of the SageMC imports still worked in V7, so I think most of the Default STV imports will probably work as well.

With the Sage7 running STV3 on one of my clients. Dynamic menus work... comskip works IMDB works Miniguide works Close media file works among a few others. Comskip I believe in order to get it working I had import into STV3 and then use UI7 and install the plugin then it worked in STV3.

Another +1.
I really depend on filtering the children's movies into a separate menu item. |

While a Sage-supported, part-of-the-software solution would be best, I hope all you devs out there know that whoever comes up with a fully customizable menu plug-in first will be crowned ultimate king of Sage devs.
![]() (yes, this is a blatent attempt to rush the process along) I built a new server and was only going to install v6 on it until someone created DCM for v7. But unfortunately, fresh installs of DCM on v6 are broken now (see the thread in the v6 customization forum). It worked fine on my existing server (been installed for years), but apparently new installs are not working. I debated about going back to my old server, vs. installing v7, and I opted to install v7 just to try it out. I am still debating about switching back to my old server with v6 and functioning DCM...

I've read the thread and seen the lack of traction this seems to have, but I wanted to weigh in with a bigtime +1 on this. It is one of THE most influential addons found for Sage which made the original user interface more tolerable. +1 +1 +1 |
