US OTA HD not seemless transition on live TV

I have seen a couple of posts where Europe is affected with seemless transition, but I didn't see anyone complaining in the US. I always see a pause between shows. I'm using the hvr-2250 and OTA. I just checked my properties file and it does show seeker/fast_mux_switch=true

The Placeshifter doesn't support seamless transitions; so that may be your issue. Other than that; we don't have any other reports of it not working.

I'm not using placeshifter, just MediaMVP's. I will go ahead and submit a bug.

Those require transcoding of HD, so I'm not at all surprised it doesn't work.

I think for all intents and purposes, MediaMVP == Placeshifter. It's capabilities are similar, as are it's limitations (playback wise).

Except that placeshifter can play without transcoding if you're on the lan, where as the MVP can't play anything but SD MPEG without transcoding.
