Question HD300 Bundle Question

Does the "SageTV HD Theater 300 with SageTV Media Center for Windows Bundle" now come with SageTV Version 7. I want to get a HD300 and need to upgrade from V.6, If I buy them seperately it's going to cost $190, but I get the upgade ... the bundle is $200 and I expect get the full version. So, if it is V.7, then it is worth the added $10 to get the full version. Plus that will better position me for future upgrade costs and still cost $30 less than buying the full version seperate.

Never mind ... Just spotted this ... "Includes SageTV Media Center version 7 for Windows license and download information." I would expect that to be a full license ...

Yes, it's a full license - but why spend the extra $10 dollars instead of just buying the HD300 and an upgrade for your current v6 license? Unless, of course, you're going to be using your v6 license for something/somewhere else (and just spending the extra $40 then).

Thanks, One thing is I am not sure if I will have problems. I started with Sage at v.2. Was good for upgrade to 4. Paid for upgrade to 6 with upgrade key. So, now i need my 2 keys to get to 6. Am not sure I can add a 3rd key to get to 7 or even want to hassle it. Plus if I spend the 10 bucks and get a new full license, that may get me the next upgrade free.

That said, with all the bad press I am reading about HD300 wireless makes me hesitant ... Hmmm ...

You actually only need your original purchase, and then your v7 upgrade key. The v7 upgrade is good for upgrade from ANY previous version of sage. (the name of the item is 'SageTV Media Center for Windows Version 7 Upgrade (Requires full version of SageTV 6 or earlier)'
