HD300 random freezes

I'm getting regular, but randomly occuring freezes whilst watching DVD's or Tv.
The only thing you can do is turn off the HD300 and restart it. It will connect fine and playback can be restarted.

It is usually occuring when two HD300's are in use.
I'm running Sagetv 7.0.23,installed on a windows 7 machine and the latest firmware on the HD300's.
Sagetv pc is not maxing out on CPU,memory or network whilst this happens.

Nothing is reported in windows event log.

Resolved

Managed to identify the issue.

My switches and pc's are all set to Gigabit speed and had turned on flow control on the sagetv server to prevent dvd playback stuttering.

The issue is that the HD300's are 100mb max, I also have a freecom media player which is also 100mb. My main switch was a Linksys switch and whilst trying to identify the issue I had plugged my server into a Netgear switch. After turning off flow control all worked perfectly, even the dvd stuttering experienced previously without flow control enabled was gone.

Replaced the linksys router with the netgear and now all working perfectly, what is interesting is that the Freecom works perfectly on both switches.

Now happy, but still not sure why the hd300's do not work perfectly with certain switches.

changes

Sorry if I did not make it clear, the changes where made to the server network card not the switch. I had to change the switch to a different model to get it working.

I don't believe you can change anything on the switch itself.
