Pretty Please! I love SMM and was hoping for integrated TV.

However, If you choose to go another route, I know the end result will be excellent!

I thought you were talking about waiting on upgrading to windows 7. I missed that.

I think the idea of letting the TV data be used in the core would be perfect. Provide the data, let the users pick the ui. Can't beat that. Nothing wrong with flexibility.

Does "letting the TV data be used in the core" mean that Diamond would be able to use collection management directly as its metadata source? That is the only thing really holding me to SMM.

I guess I just don't understand the lingo.

Yes but you can already do this with Movies you just get limited functions (ie no boxed sets, offline collection etct)

I hope you guys add the boxed set functinality to Diamond. All our holiday movies (mostly Christmas) are currently set up in a boxed set called "Holidays". That way they do not all show on the main wall.

To use collection manager metadata with Diamond, it is my understanding that you have to use collection manager to output folder.jpg and .property files for Diamond to use. Direct integration like SMM has would be so much cleaner to me (I just prefer collection manager to BMT).

Ok, so now it is time to be patient and see what you come up with for TV. Like I said earlier. I know it will be excellent.

You will never see that function come to diamond. That is a mymovies/smm specific function.
