Using Remote - Shutdown Sage to OS and Sleep OS - Streamzap

Any ideas on a Streamzap remote how I could be on a client PC In Sage and push the power button and cause Sage to Shutdown/Quit to the OS and the OS to go to sleep? I couldn't program the power button in Sage's menu. When I programmed one of the bottom buttons to Shutdown Sage it just went to screen saver. Would be nice at night to tap one button to cleanly exit Sage and shut down or sleep the computer.

Windows 7x64, Sage7

In your screensaver options you have an option "While full screen: Sleep option starts the screen saver or sleeps in system tray" Choose the system tray. Your system will sleep according to your power options set in the OS. You would have to look at a different program for Streamzap like LM Remote if you want more control over what you can do.

I would advise caution with LM Remote. I bought the donators version on Feb 2 and still don't have a username/password from them so I can use the advanced features with SageTV.

I have 2 threads on their Forum about this and have written the company. StepaneM (the company?) has not been on their Forum since mid January.

I believe it to be a good product and StephaneM has been responsive and helpful in the past. I do hope he is okay.

Good luck.

I own the program too. Make sure that those emails haven't been snatched up in your spam folders. I had my user name/password almost immediately. I have also received support almost immediately via email (not just the forum.) That being said I have not conversed with them lately so I hope everything is OK.

Thanks for the tip Gerry. Nothing in my spam folder from them. In fact I get email alerts when there are new posts in their forum.

As I said, if you check their Forum there have been no responses from StephaneM since mid January. I am concerned for him, but also frustrated that I can't use the program. I have several things I want to do with our Harmony One remote and LM seemed the best solution.
