I might be stating the obvious here but why don't you just remove and reinstall the upnpbrowser plugin?

Any clue what the name of the Plugin is? I looked can't find a upnp browser plugin. When I install the Playon plugin I thought it was supposed to install upnp. However, it doesn't (on my machine at least).

It's under the Library category. It's listed as "do not download", second on the list.

Thanks, but it says installed (when I install the Playon plugin) and gives me the option to uninstall. The issue is that it is really not installed so the system thinks it is installed but the .exe file is not there causing Playon to not work in Sage.

I am with you and thought that installing reinstalling would have fixed it. So now I have an unhappy wife until I get the right files in the folder.

Just download it manually and extract it to

Ok, I updated the STVi to let people put PlayOn back in the Online Menu and I also fixed some issues where people couldn't get channels to show up.

I also contacted AVG to try an get them to not flag my UPnPBrowser.exe as a trojan, i'm very curious to see how helpful they'll be.

In the new beta 7.1.15 Playon was put in "Online -> More Online Services" and runs horizontal instead of the previous vertical list. Also, settings comes back with "The external feed was empty". I am getting stuff to stream though.

Is there a reason why you replaced "Search"? My wife uses search, and I did not read here, I only read the onscreen update description. I now no longer have search. When I put PlayOn into another main menu item, search does not come back.

I was under the impression that updating to the new version would simply add another main menu item, not replace one....

You need to exit/re-enter the main to get the PlayOn menu item to update. Sorry, I thought I fixed that. Also, I had no idea anyone actually used search. Apprently I was very wrong

I have not used Netflix on HD200 in awhile because I just normally switch over to Xbox360. But playing around with the new menu, I tried netflix. Did the quality improve? Its still not perfect, but it seemed a lot better, of course, my memory of what it looked like could just be wrong.

I think its the latter

Generally how it works for me is if I watch PlayOn to judge for quality i'll always be disappointed, but if I just watch it for the sake of watching I have no issue with the quality. In other words, if you're looking for a problem you'll find it so just don't look in the first place

The new plugin still does not work...
I deleted the UPnP plugin, downloaded and installed the UPnP plugin as instructed. I still get: "The external feed was empty" when I try to play anything using the new PlayOn plugin.

I can get to Netflix, Hulu and most things by using Online but not by using the PlayOn plugin.
