Sort on mediafileid

Stuckless,

It looks like somehow the mediafileID (which should be the ID assigned to an imported video file) are somehow now being reassigned differently to my media. You would typically sort on mediafileID to get a list of movies that were recently added to the library. But somehow now I have movies that were add a long time ago to the library with very high mediafileIDs. Have you seen this? Sage is assigning the mediafileID's and not phoenix right?

That is correct, sage assigns a mediafileid. In fact there is no way we can change a mediafile id. Are you sure the sort is not doing an ascending sort vs a descending sort? Or have you checked the mediafileid and found that it is a relatively low # for newer movies.

You may need to contact sagetv support to figure out what is going on with the mediafile id.
