If true, then maybe 1 more season for Sanctuary, 2 for Warehouse 13
Ah... I see from IsMyShowCancelled, somehow I missed that Sanctuary was cancelled. I'm OK with that, it never really turned out how I expected it would anyway. Though I thought something was up when I saw Ryan Robbins ("Henry" on Sanctuary) turn up on Falling Skies this week in a recurring character.

Now if they could somehow just let Tesla appear in some other SyFy show...

I watched that for the first 2 episodes, but it was (wait for it).. Forgettable
Seriously, I thought the first few eps were so bad it would be dropped mid-season, so I stopped watching.

A shame that it was chosen for renewal. Of the gimmicky / paranormal crime shows that were cancelled, I think Alcatraz and Awake were far better. Too bad they were from different networks, so CBS can't resurrect them instead.

Bring back Harry's Law ONLY if they went back to the first year type story lines.
1st Season, we couldn't wait for the next episode to watch.

2nd Season, soon ended up just recording and we'll watch it when caught up with other shows.

They "grew" too big and lost the "heart" of the show.

Totally agree. I almost stopped recording them the second year. Same with Parenthood. Liked the 1st year, 2nd year not so much, 3rd year I still haven't watched all the episodes yet and removed the favorite.

I do agree that the first season was better than the second.. But the second season had some interesting issues. The end of the season was better than the beginning. I guess they tried to make the second season appeal to a younger crowd... and missed as explained by the cancellation.

I still don't get how they can cancel the show with the second best ratings just because the 18-49s had really bad numbers!

After the first few shows of this season I kind of gave up on Fringe, and put it aside in favor of other things but left SageTV recording the favorite (that's what 9TB is for..). Well, I've got a summer cold, and I just watched 10 or 12 eps in a row (all but the last few eps) yesterday. I have to say, they are a lot more enjoyable, and make a lot more sense viewed back to back.

I'm coming to the conclusion that Fringe is (and probably most JJ Abrams shows are) too intricate and confusing to watch once a week, and is much better when watched in marathon session. I watched "Alias" via daily cable re-runs, and Lost via "Hulu". But I had been watching Fringe once a week. All the alternate timeline / universe story arc stuff makes a lot more sense when it is fresh in your head.

Drew

PS: The only problem with watching it 6 months late is that it is too late to complain on our AVS Forums HDTV thread about the abysmal Fox local commercial insertion. In several eps, they inserted a "Next on Fox35 News at 10..." for 30 seconds in the last 2 minutes of the final scene, and there was often 10-30 seconds of black screen cutting off some of the show when returning from commercial.
