Not to mention the "Disable timeline for monitored recordings" plugin that doesn't ruin the suspense for monitored recordings via information contained in the timeline.

For some reason the web site seems a bit late in getting games posted. I tried about an hour ago and it had nothing listed for NBA or NHL. It now has the two NBA games listed but there is nothing listed for the NHL despite there being games starting in just a few hours.

Will you please add Womens College Basketball to monitored events.

And Skiing Wiz, thanks for keeping this plug-in going.

Version 1.7.1 adds this. I just submitted the update, so it should be available soon.

Since I have updated to 1.7.1, it seems that SRE does not detect *any* college basketball games anymore -- see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/gxwoZfzoRss (screenshot taken 1/5/2019).

Am I missing something?

Hmm -- well, I rolled back to 1.6 and it's not detecting any college basketball either. Perhaps it's a coincidence?

Don't know this for a fact, but I believe the data the plug in looks at is from ESPN.

If you go to ESPN and look at NCAA scores, it defaults to yesterday's games.
I'm guessing that once ESPN begins defaulting to todays games the plug-in will show the correct data.

Pfft -- right you are, mine just updated a moment ago:

I guess I jumped the gun a bit, if Sage doesn't extend properly, I won't hear the end of it from my wife! Thanks for chiming in.

That's right. Usually that happens between 11am and noon, Eastern time. (It may depend on when games are scheduled to start.)

Hey Skiingwiz, I just had to reinstall all of sage on a new server, part of a long migration story. I installed sage to an unraid box, and now use the client on my HTPC. I installed the SRE server plug-in fine, but the client plug-in just gives me an error that it can't download the file. Exact error is:

Code:
Plugin Client Install Progress: Done - FAILED - Resource Download
http://bintray.com/artifact/download/opensagetv/sage
tv-plugins/sre/sre-jar-4.0.2.20160531211256.zip
I can pull it up via web browser on bintray, and it redirects to an https site. I can download the zip file just fine, so I know it's there. Could Sage be expecting it on an http connection which bintray doesn't support any longer? Another plugin (Jetty Web Server Client plugin) gives me a similar error.

That's odd. I'll have to investigate. I'll let you know what I find.

What version of Java do you have installed? You probably need 1.8 or newer.

This was a great hint, and solved my problem. The Sage v9 installer has java 7, but the plugins need java 8. I upgraded to 8, restarted sage, and it installed the problematic client plugins just fine. Testing it tonight with the Portland vs Cleveland basketball game, but right now it looks like it's working correctly. Thanks Tiki!

Does this still work for MLB games?

I'm getting the following when pinging localhost:8080/livepvrdata/events =>

I'm running Sage 9.2.1.826 (64-bit). It's continually using the default padding when monitoring should be occurring with the Met's game right now. This has been happening for quite some time even on the 32-bit version of Sage.
Any information that you could provide regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Java 8 64-bit.
What version of Java are you using?
Could that make a difference in these results?
