Plex Scanner and BMT Agent for SageTV

I will email it to you both as soon as my deep scan finishes. I reran the scan with the ThemeMusic as a lower priority than the BMTAgent in hopes that the theme music would start working.

Theme music still not working. The code is getting called, but the logs showing me that the theme music agent is receiving errors when performing lookups on the sageTV shows. I am going to email the dev at plex and ask. I will package up the code now and send it to you 2.

Anything special we need to do to install other than say, stop the server, install new agent files, start server and perform a deep scan?

I noticed in the episode thumbnails there appears to be a pink film covering the thumbnail. I think this might be a BMT scaling problem ... but I am not sure where to correct it. Other then that everything appears to be working.

I have never seen that before. Check the file in BMT and look at all of the available poster art for the media item. Do you see the same pink tint action going on there too?

Everything looks good I remember seeing this problem discussed before I believe in the BMT forum will have to search there.

All the thumbnails in Plex have that Haze. If I use the default in plex the thumbnails are ok. it is probably a setting in BMT maybe Stuckless can help when available.

Wanted to let you all know that I was able to get theme music working with some direction from friends over at Plex, and from a point in the right Direction from Sean. Thanks Sean!

I wil shoot the two of you new code when i get back later tonight to test out, and then hopefully up for everyone else tomorrow.

There was a problem in BMT, but I asked Jeff to expose core scaling APIs so that I could use them instead of the Java ImageIO ones. This has been resolved for many months (over a year I think).

I'm guessing you are running the latest Phoenix apis?

It could still be a BMT issue... but I haven't noticed any issues since I converted the code to use the SageTV core scaling apis.

It's absolutely gorgeous, all the metadata appears to be populated, including duration, media info, etc.

Yes it's a fresh Install of my server a week ago. I am redoing all the fanart.... see if that helps. I rebuilt all the fanart deleted cache etc...

The haze is still there attached is a screenshot of the Phoenix apis.

The music works fine and all else works fine.... but I cannot handle that HAZE over my thumbnails. It definitely is a BMT problem my server is on windows 8 and Java 7.... so maybe not playing nice together. I appreciate all your work but for now I will use the default agent along with your scanner.

Here is a sample where plex is still updating the ones that have gotten the metadata from BMT have the haze the ones that still have not yet updated have a clear thumbnail. So it definitely is a BMT problem.

Not sure what else I can do. I call the SageTV apis for scaling... this is nothing that I'll be able to look at within the next couple of months... but I can certainly try to reproduce and fix it later... but without reproducing it locally, it's next to impossible to fix
