Sage Placeshifter Hangs-Disconnects at Exactly 5 Minutes

Hi All.

I have searched the forums and not found a resolution - one person uninstalled Windows 7 and went back to XP SP2 to resolve a similar problem. However, I'm not willing to go that far.

My problem is that after starting Placeshifter (Mac or Windows versions) playback will stop after EXACTLY 5 minutes, which requires reconnecting to the server.

With debugging on, I get the following error in the SageTV server log:
"Exception in the MiniUIClientReceiver of: java.io.IOException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine"

Everything on my network controller looks fine, including preventing Windows from turning off the NIC for power saving.

Ironically, Airvideo running on the same machine will playback Sage recordings without issue, though the quality is much worse than Sage Placeshifter, which is why I would prefer to use Sage.

I am having the same problem. Did you find a solution? I can make it stay connected over 5 minutes if I leave the OSD on. That makes watching terrible.

Me too. Could it be a Placeshifter licence issue or maybe my ISP is stopping me from streaming?
